I hope you will feel inspired to help me reach a goal for The ARC & Right Turn of $50,000. They are the best organizations in the world because they help people and their families into RECOVERY, not only for their addictions but also get them back as happy productive people to their families and society. How good is that?
What is an Ironman? It's a 2.4-mile Swim, 112-mile Bike and then a 26.2-mile Marathon. All in succession and held in various places around the world.

Hello and Welcome to my
Ironman Project for 2008!
Ashley Kathleen Corbett just received a very special award in Iraq. Click on her page to learn more about this and see her award winning photo. This is really cool and the name of the medal ARCOM is kind of ironic huh?
Please click on the Army Specialist Ashley Corbett page to learn more about her. She is my major inspiration for this years journey! She is serving in Iraq and was home recently and I got to visit with her. What a great visit that was. She is such a humble person with a great story of service, commitment, and love for her fellow man. She is an Ironwoman! I stand in awe of her today. We love you Ashley and thank you for your service!

WMCT-TV did a Magazine story on me about the Ironman Journey.
It's about 10 minutes long,
but worth it . . .
Please pass it on!

Why am I doing this you ask? Its simple. It is time to give back for all the blessings I have in my life. I can think of no better way than to show through my sacrifice for training and completing an Ironman to show people that it is a similar path for those struggling with addiction and when you do the work you see and feel the results. I am trying to live a healthy, recovery inspired life and Ironman is one of the many ways that helps me stay focused on that goal for myself.
Where & When are my next Ironmans? I will be doing Arizona in April of 2008. Then 6 Ironmans within a year starting with Ironman Florida in November 2008, then Ironman Arizona in November 2008, Idaho in June 2009, Lake Placid in July 2009, Louisville in Aug 2009 and ending with Wisconsin in Sept 2009.
Why does Right Turn & The ARC need your help? Its simple. Funding from the Federal and State levels has been so drastically reduced it has forced these places to rely more on people like me to get funding to keep the doors open for the next addict. It is our mission to find a way to continue to help that next person that needs the help to stay alive and become a giver in our society. To become a positive member of our society, to become a father again, a mother again, a husband, a wife, a brother, a sister, a son, a daughter, a friend again and walk with their head high and not counting tiles on the floor. I have seen many, many miracles happen and want that to continue.
What is my goal? $50,000!
I believe that many hands make light work so I am asking you today RIGHT NOW to reach inside of your heart and your wallet and make a donation today on one of the links to the left for The ARC and Right Turn.
They need our help more than ever and I hope you will do what you can God bless you!
Happy Trails!
Kevin
